This got me thinking, what is gun control like in France? Guns are such a hot-button issue in America, a principal would most likely be fired for allowing this ride on school property. A quick survey of stats reveals that one-third of French households own a gun, usually more than one, but the same number, one-third of American households, own more than one gun as well. Violent crime in America is four times and more higher than in France, highlights include gun-related deaths and rape, so what makes the difference? Gun regulation seems similar. More research is necessary.
